Wooden door installation process

1. Installation of door set (box)
(1) combined door frame
the door frame is the basic structure of the wooden door, and the components need to be firmly connected. The installation gap should be tight and smooth, and the parts should be at an angle of 90 degrees to avoid dislocation, this kind of door frame can ensure the installation quality.
(2) reserved installation gap
using the construction method of the rear plug, the installation gap between the hole and the door frame is best controlled at 8mm ~ 30mm. If the gap is too small, the door frame cannot be inserted or the fixed adhesive material cannot be filled. If the gap is too large, the fixing is not firm and the filling material is wasted.
(3) adjust verticality
the adjustment of verticality on the front side is very important for the installation of wooden doors, ensuring the appearance and durability, using wooden wedge, rubber hammer, level meter, etc.
(4) Hinge installation
measure whether the position of each hinge slot on the door frame and the position of each hinge on the side of the door leaf are ready to correspond. If there is any error, repair it in time. The hinge screws must be screwed in and fully loaded.
(5) install door leaf
use wooden wedge to raise the door leaf from the bottom, adjust it to the appropriate height to close the hinge and the hinge slot on the door frame, and then fix the hinge on the door frame.
(6) door leaf adjustment
after the door leaf is installed, it is necessary to adjust the gap between the left and right sides of the door frame evenly. The specific dimensions are as follows: the gap between the door leaf and the upper frame and the side frame should be controlled at 1.5mm ~ 4.0mm; The gap between the door leaf and the ground, interior door should be controlled at 6.0~8.0mm;
the gap between door leaf and ground, toilet and other places should be controlled at 8.0~10.0mm.
(7) hit Styrofoam
before hitting Styrofoam, you should clean up the debris left on the wall hole, such as putty, powder ash, etc. Amount of spread it is appropriate to occupy 70%~ 90% of the door frame and wall space after expansion and curing. After the colloid is expanded, the wooden frame will be expanded and bent. If the colloid is expanded, the bonding strength between the door frame and the wall will decrease.
The foaming agent must be broken into the gap twice. For the first time, a little is used for positioning. Be sure to hit the iron sheet joint. After the pending position is Styrofoam dry and fixed, call again. The longer the interval between the two gluing, the better.
(8) cleaning
styrofoam after curing, the exposed colloid should be removed by using wallpaper knife, and the exposed wooden wedge before the door frame and the wall should be removed at the same time. The gap should be cut horizontally and the face line should be pasted portable package.
2. Installation of door casing (door sticker face)
before installing door casing, clean up the foreign matter in the escape slot. During cleaning, the corner of the slot cannot be damaged, and then put door casing into the door cover (frame) slotting, fixed with white glue oil or silica gel. There should be a gap of 5mm between the toilet sleeve wire and the ground, and then silicone.
The motherboard fixed on the sleeve wire should be close to the wall as much as possible, subject to its own vertical, not based on the leveling of the wall, and sealant should be used to seal the gap.
3. Installation of door leaf
after the door leaf is installed in place, the gap at each position should meet the values specified in the following table. After the door leaf is installed, it is required to be flat and vertical. After the door leaf is tightly closed, it is tightly combined with the sealing strip, and it does not swing and can be switched freely.

5. Installation of hardware
after the hinge and lock body cover plate are installed, the difference between the height and the surface of the door leaf and door frame is not more than 1mm, and the tolerance between the slot and the hinge and lock body cover plate is not more than 1.5mm.
According to the installation position of the lock, the height of the handle from the horizontal ground is 900mm ~ 1050mm.
Generally speaking, keyhole of the door leaves are pre-opened in the factory, and some also need to open holes on site. The flatness and accuracy of keyhole directly affect the appearance and accuracy of wooden door installation, large enterprises will use numerical control processing to open keyhole and keyholes at one time to increase product quality.
6. Cleaning and acceptance stage
there will be some scratches, bumps and other damages during the installation of wooden doors. After the installation, repair work should be carried out, and sealant should be used to seal the gap. The installer should introduce the inspection method and maintenance method after installation to the user, and let the consumer check it in person. After acceptance, sign the installation acceptance form to complete the wooden door installation.
