However, if the waxing method is improper, bright white, circle marks, discoloration and other phenomena will occur. Wooden door waxing six steps
1. Waxing in sunny weather
If the humidity is too high in rainy days, waxing will cause gonorrhea. When the room temperature is below 5 degrees, wooden door wax will harden. Before waxing, do not use a rag containing chemicals to wipe the wooden door, which will lead to poor adhesion of the wooden door wax.
2. Clean the surface of wooden door
Use a vacuum cleaner or rag to remove dust from the wooden door surface. Use diluted neutral detergent to wipe the stains on the wooden door, and use storage box water to wipe the stains that are difficult to remove. In order to prevent the detergent from accumulating in the groove, the cleaning cloth soaked with detergent should be wrung out as much as possible.
3. Wring out the rag
The surface of the wooden door, especially the groove part, should be carefully wiped without residual detergent. Such as residual detergent and moisture, it will cause surface bright white and bulging.
4. Fully dry
The water on the surface of wooden door and groove can be waxed only after it is completely dry. According to different seasons, the required time also changes. If it is not fully dried, the wood door wax will not be closely attached to the surface of the wood door, which will affect the appearance and produce bright white phenomenon.
5. Waxing method
Shake and fully stir the container with wooden door wax. (Before waxing the whole wooden door, try it out locally in the corner and other unconspicuous places to make sure it is uncertain) in order to prevent the wax of wooden door from polluting the skirting line and furniture of the wall, cover the above parts with adhesive glassine tape and so on. Dip the wooden door wax with a clean cloth to avoid dripping.
Do not pour the wooden door wax directly on the wooden door, otherwise it will produce marks and circle marks. Apply according to the wood grain direction of the wooden door, and do not leak the coating or uneven thickness. Too little coating will lead to uneven thickness, and too much coating will lead to poor film making. Keeping thin and thick evenly is the key to waxing. Waxing tools can use waxing special mop, which is easy to operate and has ideal effect. (Do not dilute wooden door wax with water)
6. Time control
After the wooden door is waxed, do not touch the wooden door. It usually takes 20 minutes to 1 hour to dry it. If there is any missing coating, apply it again. When applying for the second time, it should be done after the first complete drying. Generally, wax maintenance is performed once about 6 months, which can keep the wooden door beautiful for a long time.
