1. Choose sunny weather for waxing
When the humidity is high in rainy days, waxing will produce gonorrhea. Wooden door wax will harden at room temperature below 5 °. Do not wipe the wooden door with a rag containing chemicals before waxing, which will lead to poor adhesion of wooden door wax.
2. Remove garbage and dirt from the wooden door surface
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove garbage and dust from the wooden door surface. Wipe the stain on the wooden door with diluted neutral detergent. In order to prevent the detergent from accumulating in the groove, the cleaning cloth soaked with detergent should be wrung out as much as possible. Wooden door wax scavenging agent will cause the wooden door to produce marks and bulges, and must not be used.
3. Wipe with wringing cloth
Use wringing cloth to wipe the surface of the wooden door, especially the groove part, and do not leave detergent. If residual detergent and moisture can cause surface bright white and bulging.
4. Fully dry
The water on the surface of wooden door and groove can be waxed only after it is completely dry. According to different seasons, the time required is not the same, but it takes about more than half a day. If it is not fully dried, the wooden door wax will not be closely attached to the surface of the wooden door, which will affect the appearance and produce bright white.
5. Waxing method
Shake the container with wooden door wax and stir well. Before waxing the whole wooden door of the room, try it out locally in the corner and other unconspicuous places to confirm whether there is any abnormality. To prevent wooden door wax from polluting wall skirting lines and furniture, cover the above parts with adhesive glassine tape and so on. Fully dip the wooden door wax with a clean cloth, so as not to drip.
Do not pour the wooden door wax directly on the wooden door, otherwise it will produce marks and circle marks. Apply special wipes carefully according to the wood grain direction of the wooden door, and do not leak the coating or uneven thickness. Too little coating will lead to uneven thickness, and too much coating will lead to poor film making. Keeping thin and thick evenly is the key to waxing, and wooden door wax cannot be diluted with water.
6. Drying time control
Do not touch the wooden door before drying. It usually takes 20 minutes to 1 hour to dry the wooden door. If there is any leakage, make up the coating. If two waxing methods are adopted, the second application should be carried out after the first complete drying. Wax every 6 months or so can keep the wooden door beautiful for a long time.
