The waterproof of doors and windows is related to the sealing of profiles. The tightness of door & window profile is the most important part of the performance index. What do you think about the tightness of door and window products?
1. Look at door and window sealant
it adopts anti-aging and elastic sealant between Casement glass, which is soft and tough to rebound when touched by hands, and is not easy to fall off. Check whether the information material provided by it meets the physical performance index stipulated by the national standard. And when Casement is closed, carefully check whether the frame fan is tightly fitted.
2. Look at the sealing structure
sealant strips are installed on the outside, inside and middle of Casement of high-end doors and windows, dividing the frame fan space into two cavities. The outside is a watertight chamber, and the inside is an airtight chamber, forming an isobaric chamber. The pressure in the isobaric chamber is equal to the outdoor pressure, preventing rainwater from entering the room, and according to the siphon principle, rainwater flows out to the outside through its own gravity. So as to effectively block rainwater from entering the room through the effect of outdoor wind pressure.
3. Look at the processing technology
looking at the four corner links of Casement, the processing precision of high-end doors and windows is high, the gap will be extremely corrected and the glue filling angle code process is adopted, and its sealing performance is far greater than Casement without glue filling angle code. If the machining accuracy is poor, the gap will be large and water will easily enter. Therefore, we must look at the tightness of the corner link to prevent rainwater from penetrating through the gap.
Sealing design standard of doors and windows
1. When the open window is in the open state, rain will flow into the inner cavity from the keyhole of the actuator in rainy weather, causing corrosion and friction lined steel corrosion hinge screws the inner cavity. Therefore, the gap after installing the actuator at keyhole should be sealed with glue.
2. At present, most of the door and window rubber strip use EPDM, which can ensure better elasticity and aging quality resistance, but the rain water in the glass groove sealed with adhesive strips will still leak in, so the drainage holes and grooves need to be milled.
3. The splicing place of the combined doors and windows is also the place where rainwater leaks, which is more serious when it encounters heavy rain and typhoon. Therefore, it is necessary to connect with the window frame at the contact point of rubber hanged after the outdoor side splicing.
