In order to ensure that the technical requirements of exterior doors and windows are clearly defined in the process of project design, procurement and construction, and meet the performance requirements of wind pressure resistance, water tightness, air tightness, heat preservation, sound insulation, lighting, safety and other aspects, to avoid the recurrence of common problems in exterior door and window engineering, we will share with you the five key points of door and window quality control.
I. Sealing requirements
1. Corner sealing strip (rubber angle): the sealing strip should avoid corner splicing, and the corner sealing strip should be designed as a 90-degree integral rubber angle.
2. Frame fan sealing strip: Three sealing strips should be designed for opening the fan, which are mainly sealing strip, fan edge pressing strip and frame edge pressing strip respectively.
II. Anti-leakage requirements
1. The outer window must be equipped with drainage channel, drainage outlet and exhaust hole (air pressure balance hole) to drain the water in the window frame. Buckle cover should be set outside the outfall to prevent strong wind from blowing rain and dust into the Casement.
2. The heat insulation strip should adopt C- type structure, which is on the same horizontal plane after being combined with internal and external aluminum profiles to avoid leakage and corrosion hazards caused by water accumulation at the heat insulation strip. At the same time, the length of the heat insulation strip can be increased to improve thermal performance.
3. Door and window opening size: the structural opening should not be reserved too large to avoid leakage hidden danger caused by plugging difficulties.
4. Gate: for special reasons, if the external wall is stone curtain wall, the reserved size of the gate is large. It is recommended to make a gate for the structural Gate. The gate should be poured at the same time as the concrete wall.
5. Exterior sill plate: metal sill plate is recommended for buildings with exterior wall materials as coatings. The inside of the metal sill plate should be pressed into the window frame, and the outside should highlight the wall for dripping water.
6. Window frame and structural opening: The window frame should be installed in the vertical. If it is installed by the outside, it should be folded inward by 20mm to prevent the window frame from being installed outside the outer skin of the structure due to structural construction errors, resulting in rainwater leakage.
III. Structural requirements of frame fan
1. Set angle: set angle is an important process related to the integrity of doors and windows.
2. Glue-wiping process: Generally, the angle code glue-wiping process should be adopted. Corner of the window extrusion molding without glue-wiping is prohibited.
3. IV. Thermal insulation requirements
1. Cavity design of profiles: profiles should adopt multi-cavity structure to reduce heat loss. At the same time, external window insulation components should be coplanar up and down to form an integral insulation surface to eliminate cold bridges, block heat loss channels.
2. Heat insulation strip should be installed in the glass installation tank: increase the number of air chambers, reduce the heat loss between the hollow glass and the profile, and improve the heat insulation effect of the whole window.
3. Casement should adopt T-type heat insulation strip design: Casement the heat insulation strip is designed as T-type, overlapping with the middle adhesive strip to realize the hot and cold partition at the joint of the fan frame. It is forbidden to place the middle rubber strip directly on the aluminum profile of the fan.
4. The heat insulation strip should adopt polyamide 66 (I .e. Polyamide66, commonly known as Nylon 66).

6. In areas with high heat transfer coefficient requirements, according to the project positioning, the heat insulation heat barrier material can be added to the heat insulation cavity of the profile to meet the k value requirements.
7. Exterior door: the threshold should be set for the exterior vertical hinged door of the first floor of the residence leading to the garden. No threshold should be set, and the bottom of the door should be closed with a brush. The first floor residents of the house open double doors to the garden flat. After closing, the two doors should be bite and lap, and it is forbidden to leave a seam in the middle and close it with a brush.
V. Safety technical requirements
1. Glass buckle: The glass buckle should be installed on the indoor side. It is forbidden to turn the in-swinging casement window into outwards opening window so that the buckle is installed on the outdoor side to ensure the requirements of anti-theft, safety and glass replacement, leaving no leakage hidden danger.
2. Lock point: in order to improve the wind pressure resistance and anti-theft performance of the outer window, the outer window should adopt multi-point lock. The lock point setting shall meet the requirements of hardware manufacturer's design and installation manual.
3. The outer door size of the unit entrance should not be too large to ensure the reliability of hardware accessories such as hinge and avoid safety accidents.
