Gu Jia broke out overseas! Mexico factory expansion, capacity doubled!
Recently, KUKa announced the expansion of the factory in Monterey, Mexico. The current scale and production capacity are twice that of the first phase of completion in June 18 last year.
Before the expansion, the factory had 650 employees. With the establishment of the new production line, the number of employees is expected to increase significantly. It is estimated that by the end of the year, the factory's production capacity will reach 250 trucks, which is nearly ten times higher than the production of 23 to 30 trucks when they were just built.

the booming market demand in North America has pushed forward the continuous expansion plan in Vietnam and Mexico KUKa. In the past 2020, Gu's overseas business revenue reached 4.653 billion.
It is estimated that the Vietnamese factory can complete 2500 containers per month by the end of 2021. In addition, there are five factories in China KUKa, three of which are oriented to the domestic market. The other two factories have a total area of 360000 square meters and produce 7500 containers per month, mainly serving North American customers.
At present, Gu Jia has two factories in Mexico and two factories in Vietnam, but the existing overseas factories still cannot fully digest the soaring orders in the North American market.
