Tempered Insulation Glass Selection Criteria

Tempered hollow glass it is widely used in doors and windows, tempered glass it belongs to safety glass and is mainly used in the design of doors and windows for the bottom of floor-to-ceiling windows and the use of large-area glass with a glass area of more than 1.5 square meters.
The manufacturing method of tempered insulation glass is to cut the ordinary glass into the correct size first, then heat the glass to the glass softening point (about 700 degrees) and then cool it quickly and evenly.



Features of tempered insulation glass:

1. Safety: When the glass is damaged by external force, the fragments will become honeycomb-like small obtuse angle particles, which is not easy to cause harm to human body.

2. High strength: the impact strength of tempered glass with the same thickness is 3~5 times that of ordinary glass, and the bending strength is 3~5 times that of ordinary glass.

3. Thermal stability: tempered glass has good thermal stability, can withstand three times the temperature difference of ordinary glass, and can withstand the temperature difference change of 200℃.
