It only relies on road transportation, with long transportation distance, high cost and low efficiency, the security support and guarantee ability for the firm edge and the strong edge are insufficient." Therefore, Duan Xiangdong put forward four suggestions on accelerating infrastructure construction and promoting the economic and social development of Ali region in Tibet.
First, it is suggested to implement and simultaneously promote infrastructure construction and strategic mineral resources development in Ali's regional power grid, railway transportation, etc., and accelerate the transformation of resource advantages into economic advantages, fundamentally guarantee the realization of the strategy of strengthening edges and strengthening edges.
Secondly, it is suggested that relevant ministries and commissions of the state should study and coordinate to speed up the construction of the northwest Tibet power grid, purchase power outside the plus-sized area, and explore the feasibility of improving the power transmission capacity of the Qinghai-Tibet Network and the Sichuan-Tibet Network, provide safe, stable and economic power guarantee for the industrial development of Alibaba region.
Thirdly, it is suggested that the relevant ministries and commissions of the state should study and coordinate to speed up the construction of the new Tibet railway (Naqu-Geer section of the North line) and provide basic transportation support for the economic and social development of Ali region.
Fourth, it is suggested that relevant ministries and commissions of the state should study and coordinate and relevant enterprises should take the lead to accelerate the green, efficient and sustainable development and utilization of strategic mineral resources in Ali region of Tibet and build a strategic resource reserve base in China.
