Aluminum can not only be applied in all aspects of life, but also is an ideal material for manufacturing aircraft, high-speed rail, spacecraft, etc.

Independent R & D investment promotes waste recycling
Aluminum is widely used and has many advantages, which can bring great convenience to human life and production. However, in the traditional production process, aluminum is also one of the metal materials with the greatest environmental pollution, aluminium electrolysis during the production process, a large amount of greenhouse gas carbon dioxide and perfluorocarbon (mainly methane and a small amount of hexafluoroethane) will be generated, and harmful gases (hydrogen fluoride and sulfur dioxide), dust (fluorine-containing dust, alumina and carbon powder) and asphalt volatile (benzopyrene) and other harmful substances, if these wastes are not effectively treated, serious environmental and ecological problems will occur. As a benchmark enterprise of aluminum profiles, Huachang Group has always attached great importance to environmental protection issues, especially since 2012, all new projects and new factories will conduct process demonstration in advance and insist on environmental impact assessment, as long as the pollution is heavy and the energy consumption is high, it will not be adopted and constructed to ensure that all kinds of pollutants are discharged up to standard. "We have set up a special organization to be responsible for the company's environmental protection management and sewage treatment, and have improved the environmental protection management network composed of company-level, workshop-level and post personnel to control from the source, sewage, waste gas, waste residue and noise management have all established corresponding management systems and control measures to further standardize environmental management." On the other hand, Huachang has also invested a lot of money in pollutant treatment and waste heat recovery, improving the utilization rate of waste heat collection and recovery, reducing the generation of pollutants, reducing potential safety hazards, ensuring energy conservation, emission reduction and pollution reduction, improve the surrounding environment. "Through practical verification, we found that about 60% of the wastewater can be recycled directly after being treated with environmental protection to achieve the effect of energy conservation and emission reduction. Promoting scientific and technological innovation to fill domestic technological gaps
As early as 2014, Huachang group participated in the research and development of the production technology of China's first medium and low speed maglev railway conductive rail with completely independent intellectual property rights. "At that time, maglev train had been developed in China for more than 20 years. This is a new type of high-speed rail ground transportation system, which is characterized by safety, speed and comfort, it is a very environmentally friendly green vehicle, and the conductive rail is an important power transmission component of the maglev train, which requires a material with high strength and high conductivity, at that time, China had less experience in this field and basically relied entirely on imports." Guo Jialin, deputy chief engineer of Huachang group, said that in 2014, Hunan HP Rail Transit Co., Ltd. received the National magnetic suspension (Changsha demonstration line) train project, and the requirements for aluminum alloy conductive rail profiles far exceeded the standard, that is to say, the electrical conductivity of the product should be increased to more than 57%, and the requirements of high strength should be met at the same time. However, in fact, the electrical conductivity and mechanical properties of metal materials show a significant "back-to-back" relationship, this is an unprecedented challenge. Under this background, Huachang group successfully broke through the highest level of conductivity of this aluminum material in the industry at that time through independent research and development, and applied for an invention patent, filling the gap of domestic application of conductive rail aluminum material, and apply its research and development to Changsha Maglev train project. "After the popularization and application of this technology, the energy-saving benefits are huge, which can save a lot of electricity for train operation, and completely solve the situation that high-strength/high-conductivity materials are completely dependent on imports, it has a great demonstration effect on the upgrading of the aluminum profile industry in Guangdong province, accelerates the localization process of high-end aluminum alloy materials for industrial use, and plays a very good demonstration effect in the aluminum profile industry in China." Guo Jialin smiled and said that technological innovation is of great significance.

Since its establishment, Huachang Group has attached great importance to scientific and technological innovation, and now it has formed a professional technology research and development team with more than 240 people, the provincial engineering technology research center of "green, efficient and energy-saving aluminum alloy profile" has been established, and cooperative research and development relations have also been established with major universities and colleges. At the technical level, Huachang group's "six processes/Technologies" (equal temperature extrusion technology, liquid nitrogen online cooling technology, key technologies of industrial large aluminum alloy Profile extrusion, one-mold porous extrusion technology, plasma technology treatment of organic waste gas (VOC) and chromium-free passivation treatment technology and equipment on the surface of aluminum alloy products have all reached the domestic leading and international advanced level, effectively promoting the rapid and efficient development of aluminum alloy industry.
In addition to independent research and development, Huachang group will also learn from some foreign advanced technology experience and produce products that break through the nature of aluminum through independent research and development. "For example, the unmanned warehouse in Jingdong uses an aluminum material independently developed by US, which has high strength, high corrosion resistance and weldability." Guo Jialin said that the R & D and application of these technologies have also promoted the development of aluminum alloy manufacturing industry towards a sophisticated direction to some extent.
Develop cleaner production and participate in formulating green standards
As a traditional "high carbon" industry, under the goal of "double carbon" policy, the aluminum profile industry takes the route of low carbon and energy saving, which is an inevitable requirement for the sustainable development and high-quality development of the industry. By adhering to strict quality management system and formulating and implementing strict enterprise internally controlled standard, Huachang passed GB/T 19001(ISO 9001) quality management system and GB/T 24001(ISO 14001) environmental management system, ISO 50001 and RB/T 117 energy management system, GB/T 45001(ISO 45001) occupational health and safety management system, adopting international standard products, green/low-carbon/energy-saving products and other certifications to create a green and energy-saving space in all directions and realize a better life with green and low carbon. "Since 2012, Huachang Group has fully adopted clean energy such as natural gas to replace traditional coal energy to develop clean production. While protecting the environment, although the cost of natural gas is relatively high, however, through the improvement of production technology, more high quality aluminum materials have been produced, which has pushed us to enter the field of home decoration customization industry that we have not involved before and have made new breakthroughs." "The wider the application of aluminum is, the more beneficial it is to China's energy consumption and ecological environment protection, because the smelting loss rate of aluminum is extremely low, which can almost reach 100% recycling." Pan Shuhua said that this also determines that the application of aluminum products will have a broader market in the future.
